Since some years ago in Acqui was living O., the last of the witches. Following what some old people from Acqui was saying she was making concoction and love potions, was making Sabbath together with other witches on Monte Stregone, a hill around Acqui on which, following an ancient popular belief, not even the wine can grow!

This is a region where the wine is made in the vineyard with each plant being meticulously and painstakingly cared for and tended to, as is the soil. The management of the whole system is such that the best can be obtained from the fruit. The winemaking process itself is the classic one, with ageing taking place in French oak barrels.
